Assistant Director – Inner Brisbane

Randstad Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Director to join a boutique, family-owned early learning centre in the Inner Brisbane area. This is an exceptional opportunity for a Lead Educator or Educational Leader looking to step up into a management role within a supportive, high-morale environment. Tasks

As the Assistant Director, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating effectively with the Director to oversee daily operations and mentor the teaching team.

  • Maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and compliance within the centre.

  • Upholding the centre philosophy, ensuring the environment remains a safe, friendly, and reflective extension of family-owned values.

  • Supporting the implementation of high-quality, stimulating educational programs aligned with the EYLF and NQS.

  • Facilitating a sense of belonging, ensuring children fit in with like-minded friends while feeling empowered to express their unique identity.

  • Building strong and positive relationships with children, families, and the wider Brisbane community.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Approved Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved).

  • Valid Blue Card (Paid/Current).

  • Mandatory Child Safety Training (Geccko)

  • Solid understanding and practical experience with the EYLF and National Quality Standards.

  • Full working rights in Australia (no sponsorship available).
